What are some tropical fish that can fit in a 15 gallon and add color to the tank?
I really wanted mollies but when I found that they’re live bearers and breed all the time I really don’t want baby fishes all around the tank. So what are some small tropical fish that have color? and if I do get mollies how can you tell a male from a female?

With all common livebearers like guppies, mollies and platys you look at the anal fin to sex them – that’s the fin on their underside behind their gills and head. On a female it should be broad and triangular. On a male it’s slender and pointed and called a "gonopodium", males will usually hold this flat to their body, sticking it out only when displaying to females and other males.
As for your tank, you don’t have to go livebearer. There are other options, such as a shoal of 5-6 of any one of the following: neon tetras, glolight tetras, green neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, threadfin rainbowfish.
Have a look through this:

fancy guppies are colorful and the pet store people keep the females and males separate or else they would breed like crazy so you wouldn’t need to know how to tell if they were male or female

male guppies, dwarf groumies, and if they have babies u can get a male betta, and that will evenly eat the babies.
